The living room floor was unfinished plywood, except for the bedroom area of the floor which is painted blue. I'll be leaving that as it defines the sleeping space. Since the barn doesn't get a lot of light on this side I decided to paint the floor white. I used Benjamin Moore Floor & Patio paint. It's sturdy and provides excellent coverage with just one coat:

There was a lot spackling to do to fill all of the little knot holes and seams in the sheets of plywood:
We had to put the living room furniture in the dining room temporarily:
First we painted the ceiling a whisper of blue, then we primed the floor:
